The Story

Kyuemon uses 100% domestically product Japanese bonito flakes, with no additives or preservatives, to create this unique Japanese seasoning powder. Not only can you use it as a topping, to add a burst of smoky, umami flavor, but you can also use it as a dashi stock powder for miso soup, udon soup, and more.

Directions

  • Dissolve in boiling water to make a soup for udon or soba noodles.
  • Sprinkle it on top of yakisoba, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, fried udon, or any other dish you want to add umami seasoning to.
  • Add to pickles to enhance the flavor.
