Shimomura Curved Kitchen Scissors Serrated Non-Scratch Scissors

Shimomura designed these scissors to be extremely functional in the kitchen.

If you've been using normal scissor, or regular kitchen scissors until now, you're bound to know of their limitations when it comes to cooking. Shimomura recognized these limitations, and redesigned the classic pair of scissors with added features that improve their functionality in the kitchen by a great deal.

The first major change is that the blade is narrow and curved. This makes it very easy to slide under foods that you would normally have to either lift up, or access from the side. Whether your food is in a bowl, on a plate, or in a frying pan, the curve of this blade allows you to start cutting it with ease.

Secondly, the tip of the blade has a plastic edge guard. This means that even if you're cutting food in a non-stick pan, you won't scratch the coating. It also makes these scissors fantastic for cutting foods in polystyrene or plastic trays.

Finally, the blades of the scissors have fine serrations. This allows them to grip easily to oily or slippery foods. So no matter the target food, no matter its location, these scissors will make cutting much easier.
